The Late Queen Elizabeth is on her final journey as her oak coffin will make a six-hour journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh, Scotland to await for her burial in a week’s time.
Early Sunday morning, at the official residence of the British monarch in the Scottish capital, the Queen’s coffin was seen for the very first time before being put in a car and driven off.
The Queen’s coffin is scheduled to arrive in London on Tuesday where it will stay and different respects will be paid from.
The state funeral for the Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, on September 19th, 2022.
According to the Royal Family announcement, it is confirmed that King Charles III is now in charge of the new monarch.
