Courtney Kampa, an award-winning author, poet, and writer passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. She has left this world, but her legacy will remain alive forever.
She came into the limelight when her poetry appeared in The Boston Review, Three Quarterly, Missouri Review, The Wall Street Journal, National Poetry Review, and the New England Review, and a lot more publications.
Courtney was the recipient of the Press’s First Book Award for her debut novel Our Lady of Not Asking Why, which was selected by Mary Szybist, a National Book Award winner.
Courtney Kampa died on November 15, 2022. Her passing news was made public after Elizabeth Foss wrote on her Facebook timeline. Sources reveal that she had met with a car accident.
