Police in North Chicago have arrested a woman who has been renting an apartment chopped and hide her landlord in the freezer all dismembered, confirmed by authorities.
According to a statement released by the police, a woman, whose identity has not been released to the public was taken into custody after a tenant reported Frances Walker, 69, missing from her home on North Washtenaw Avenue.
The report was made in the city’s North Side on Monday when neighbors first became concerned when they did not see the landlord tending her garden over the weekend.
“We just assumed she was sick because it’s flu season, And then we started to realize she wasn’t around and tried calling her. We received no text or call and that’s when we thought something had happened.” explained neighbors.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, tenants in a home in the 5900 block of North Washtenaw Avenue heard screaming.
