Police in Excelsior Springs, Missouri fatally two dogs after an Amazon driver was found dead on Monday night with what appeared to be wounds from an animal attack.
Police, said they found a man’s body on the front lawn of a home about 7pm after neighbors reported a van had been parked there for many hours. Investigators discovered that the dead man was an Amazon delivery driver.
The victim’s identity has not been disclosed as Police was working on informing his family.
Although the official report of the medical examiner to determine the cause of death was not yet released, the victim’s injuries were said to be consistent with being attacked by an animal.
On arrival at the scene, the dogs (an English mastiff and a German shepherd) which were still present behaved aggressively towards the deputies which prompted the deputies to shoot them dead, all this happened in the absence of the home owners.
